Our Story

Pinoy Pam’s Best began with Pamela Perez, a compassionate caregiver who treated her patients like family. Her warmth, dedication, and exceptional cooking made her beloved by many. Pamela’s patients not only became a significant part of her life but also inspired her to pursue a long-held dream: to create something that would continue her legacy of care and connection within the community.

With a passion for cooking and a talent for crafting delicious desserts, Pamela started by preparing meals for her local church. Her dedication and flavorful dishes quickly gained recognition, paving the way for her to open her first restaurant at the Laguna Hills Mall Food Court in April 2009.

However, in December 2010, after nearly three years of serving loyal customers and building her business, Pamela received heartbreaking news that the food court would be closing for renovations. Determined to keep her dream alive, she and her team worked tirelessly to find a new location. Soon, they relocated to Lake Forest, just a short distance from their original home, ensuring that the heart of Pinoy Pam’s Best continued to beat strongly.

Today, more than a decade later, Pinoy Pam’s Best has grown into more than just a restaurant. It has become a cherished hub for the community, offering home-cooked Filipino meals alongside a diverse selection of Asian specialty groceries. For many, Pinoy Pam’s Best is not just a place to eat but a slice of home—a connection to the Philippines and a source of fond memories.

Pamela’s dream has flourished into a beacon of cultural sharing and heartfelt service, making Pinoy Pam’s Best a beloved part of the community for over ten years.
